Text to Pay 

Save time (and a postage stamp) with Weave's Text to Pay.

Simply text a secure payment request to your patients from your Weave app and your patients can conveniently pay their bill whenever they want… often that same day!

Text to Pay will be available to all Weave offices in February. Select Sign Up from the menu on the left to be added to the top of the roll-out list.

ADDING USERS TO STRIPE ACCOUNT

The user roles in Stripe are called ‘Team Members’. You can add new team members to a Stripe account and choose their account access through the Stripe dashboard, here.

SETTING USER ROLES IN STRIPE ACCOUNT

You can set the level of access your team members have to your Stripe account by utilizing user roles. Stripe’s user roles are listed, here. You can modify a user’s role through the Team list in the Stripe dashboard.

Step by Step Instructions

  1. Open your Weave App.

  2. Click the Text to Pay icon on the main screen of the app.

  3. Click on the person you want to request a payment from by tying their name in the search bar or scrolling through your patient list and click on their name.

  4. If desired, attach a statement or invoice. Do this by dragging a file and dropping it into the app window or by clicking on the File Icon with the text below that says “Attach Statement”. Note: To attach a statement, the selected person must have a birth date in your database. If a birthday is not found, the words “Attach Statement” will not be visible under the File Icon. To attach and send a billing statement to this person, please add their birth date to your database.

  5. Enter an amount due (either through entering the amount into the field or by using the digital number pad in the lower half of the screen).

  6. Verify the person you're sending the payment request to and the dollar amount requested is correct.

  7. Click Next.

  8. Review the text message that you will be sending. If desired, you can modify any of the precomposed text in the SMS message field with the exception of the payment request URL that looks similar to this URL example: https://app.myweavepay.com/payment/b0l0enFUU0lFak5C

  9. Click Send.
