Phone Installation

Ready to install your phones? We have already tested them to make sure they are delivered to your office ready to be plugged in.

Each phone will come with the following:

  1. Power cord

  2. Receiver cord

  3. Ethernet cable

  4. Receiver

  5. Phone stand

Unpack the phone and follow the instructions below:

Step 1: Un-pack the phone 

Confirm that the phone has all the needed parts (see list above)

Step 2: Setup the receiver

  • Take the receiver cord and plug it into the back of the phone in the 'Handset' port.

  • Plug in the other end to the receiver and place the receiver in its cradle.

Step 3: Follow Option A if your are plugging a phone directly into an ethernet port or if your phone and computer are going to be sharing an ethernet port refer to Option B.

Step 4: Plug in the power

  • Take the power cord and plug one end into the wall and the other into the phone (see port diagram below).

A.1) Find an open ethernet port in the wall (if there isn't on open proceed to Step 2, Option B).

A.2) Take the ethernet cable that came with the phone and plug it into the open port.

A.3) Plug the other end of the ethernet cable into the 'LAN' port on the back of the phone (see port diagram below).

B1) Find the ethernet port plugged into your computer and disconnect it from your computer.

B2)Take the ethernet cable that you just disconnected from your computer and plug it into the “LAN” port in the back of the phone. The one that looks like a picture of a field goal post. (see port diagram below).

B3) Take the ethernet cable that came with the phone and plug it into the open port on the back of your phone. This is the right sliver “PC” port in the back of the phone that has a picture of the laptop above it.

B4) Plug the other end of the ethernet cable into the ethernet port on the back of your computer where you unplugged the previous cable. (Step B1)
