Weave phones work well the Checkpoint routers. Check the settings to confirm that the Checkpoint is configured correctly.

Recommended Configuration Changes

  • Disable SIP ALG
  • Verify that WAN Interface is receiving a public IP Address
  • Verify the Checkpoint has sufficient node licenses to support the addition of the Weave phones to the network
  • Set up Traffic Shaping/QoS (we use DSCP 26 (SIP) & 46 (Real-Time Media)) to prioritize voice traffic
  • You may want to build an Outbound firewall rule for Weave Traffic using our FQDN that will be provided during onboarding
