Ensure your caller’s messages get to the right people by creating voicemail boxes that match your office’s needs, such as after-hours emergency messages, prescription filling, billing questions, and more.

Before you begin, you may want to record or upload a voicemail greeting for this box.

  1. Within the Weave Portal, select Phone.svg Phone from the left navigation menu
  2. Click Voicemail Boxes in the dropdown
  3. In the top right corner of the page, select Create Voicemail Box
  4. Complete each customization option
      • Update the name so your team can identify the voicemail box
      • Share Message Access to allow message management by each team member
      • Optionally add an Extension Number to allow team members to access the voicemail box from any Weave phone
      • Add a PIN to only allow certain staff access to this box’s messages
      • Enable or Disable Play Message Date if you would like each voicemail to state the date and time of the message when played back by a team member on a Weave phone
      • Enable Notifications to notify your team via email or SMS of voicemails left to this box 
      • Assign a greeting (skip to step 5)

  5. Click Save Changes
