Make sure messages are getting to your contacts at the right time by scheduling them in the message thread. 

Learn how to access the Weave app (beta). This is not available in the legacy desktop app.

Schedule a Message

  1. Select the Inbox.png Messages icon from the left navigation in the Weave app (beta)
  2. Open a message thread with a customer or start a new one
  3. Type the message you would like to schedule in the text box
  4. Click the Carrot Down.svg Dropdown icon next to the send button
  5. Select Schedule Send
  6. Type the date and time or choose a day from the calendar and time from the dropdown
  7. Click Schedule

The message will show yellow as pending until sent. Click on the message to copy, delete, send it now, or change the send date and time.

If the customer sends a text before the scheduled message goes out, it will stop the message from being sent. You can then edit the message to change the text or update the date & time

Edit a Scheduled Message

  1. Hover over the message and select the More.svg More icon that appears immediately below or right-click on the message
  2. Select Edit Message
  3. Use the text box to edit the wording. To update the date & time, select the Carrot Down.svg Dropdown icon next to the Save button and Schedule Send (or Send now if applicable).

Delete a Scheduled Message

  1. Hover over the message and select the More.svg More icon that appears immediately below or right-click on the message
  2. Select Delete Message

The scheduled message will be suppressed.

To see all your scheduled messages, click on the Scheduled tab within Messages in the Weave app.
