Manage Appointment Types in Online Scheduling

Adding appointment types in Online Scheduling allows your customers to choose the right service when making online scheduling requests. 

Appointment Settings

  1. Log into the Weave Portal and select Computer.svg Online Scheduling from the left navigation menu
  2. Click Settings from the dropdown
  3. Select Manage Appointment Types
  4. Type the Appointment Lead Time (the soonest a patient can select an appointment - prevents same-day or same-hour requests)
  5. Use the dropdown to select the Required Number of Appointments Times a customer must choose to request an appointment

Appointment Type Payments Settings

Require a payment for all appointment types. Payments must be in your Weave bundle to use this feature.

  1. Click the TOGGLEGIF-(2)_1.gif toggle on
  2. Type a payment amount in the text box
  3. Select Save Payments Settings

Create an Appointment Type

  1. Click Add New in the top right corner 
  2. Give your appointment type a name (e.g. New Patient, Check Up, Tune Up)
  3. Match the appointment type to the correct appointment time in your management system
  4. Set the duration for the appointment
  5. Set the appointment frequency (10, 15, 20, or 30 min.) at which this appointment type will be available for scheduling 
  6. Select the desired Provider
  7. Select Save

Once you have added and configured your desired appointment types, click the More.svg More icon to Edit.svg edit orTrash.svg delete them as needed.
