Quickly manage your call routing for upcoming holidays and office closures in advance with the new Override Feature, allowing you to set a beginning and ending date and time for either Call Forwarding or Voicemail Override.
Note: You can only create one override at a time per location or department.
- Within the Weave Portal, click
Phone in the left navigation menu
- Select Override
- Click + Create Override
- Select the Override Type (Send to Voicemail or Forward Call)
- Choose the Voicemail Greeting or Forwarding Number from the dropdown

Check the box for Add Start/End Time (Optional)
Note: If you add a start time only, the override will stay on until you manually turn it off by clicking Remove Override in the portal, desktop, or mobile app. If you add an end time only, override will automatically turn on immediately and turn off at the end time
- If you choose to add a start and/or end time, use the dropdowns to choose dates & times
- Click Create Override
- Within the desktop app, select the
Menu icon in the top right corner
- Click
Settings
- Select
Phones
- Click Override
- Select the + Create Override button at the center of your screen
- Choose the Override Type (Send to Voicemail or Forward Call)
- Use the dropdown to choose a Voicemail Greeting or Forwarding Number
- Check the box if you would like to add a start/end time (Optional)
- If you choose to add a start and/or end time, use the dropdowns to choose dates & times
Note: If you add a start time only, the override will stay on until you manually turn it off by clicking Remove Override in the portal, desktop, or mobile app. If you add an end time only, override will automatically turn on immediately and turn off at the end time
- Select Create Override
Voicemail Override
- Within the mobile app home page, select the
Settings icon
- Tap Phone
- If you have separate departments, choose the main line or department for the override. If not, skip this step
- Click Voicemail Override (VMO)
- Tap the Create Override button in the center of the screen
- Select the voicemail greeting from the dropdown
- Toggle on Add Start/End Time (Optional)
- If you choose to add a start and/or end time, use the dropdowns to choose dates & times
Note: If you add a start time only, the override will stay on until you manually turn it off by clicking Remove Override in the portal, desktop, or mobile app. If you add an end time only, override will automatically turn on immediately and turn off at the end time
- Select Create Override
Forward Call
- Within the mobile app home page, select the
Settings icon
- Tap Phone
- If you have separate departments, choose the main line or department for the override. If not, skip this step
- Select Call Forwarding
- Tap the Create Override button in the center of the screen
- Select the Forwardng Number from the dropdown or + Add Number for a new number
- Toggle on Start/End Time (Optional)
- If you choose to add a start and/or end time, use the dropdowns to choose dates & times
Note: If you add a start time only, the override will stay on until you manually turn it off by clicking Remove Override in the portal, desktop, or mobile app. If you add an end time only, override will automatically turn on immediately and turn off at the end time
- Select Create Override
Edit or remove an override by opening the Voicemail Override Call Forwarding page and selecting the More icon in the override box.
Once you have finished creating the override, you can return to the override page in the Weave Portal, desktop app, or mobile app to edit or remove any override.
