Automated Appointment Reminders

Create automated texts and emails to remind your patients of upcoming appointments.  Automated Reminders allow the office to customize their own appointment reminders and then select when and to whom the appointment reminders will be sent. 

Our new Enhanced Appointment Reminders gives offices the option of filtering down by appointment type, provider, or operatory.

New! Family Reminder Texts

Our new Family Text reminders are being rolled out to all offices. If the parent or guardian’s mobile number is entered as the child’s mobile number, Weave will consolidate the appointment reminders in one text for any family members that have appointments scheduled on the same day. When they reply to confirm the appointment, it will confirm all family members appointments scheduled for that day.

Steps to set up your Family Reminder Texts:

  1. Navigate to your Auto Reminders in your Weave Settings

  2. Hover near a reminder and select the blue pencil Edit icon

  3. Navigate to your text customization screens. The first template is your individual reminder.

  4. Select Next to be taken to your Family Template

  5. Preview your family reminder text and make any changes to your message. *By default the reminder will only list the start time of the first family member’s appointment. If you would like the appointment times separated out, remove the variable labeled {time} and replace with the {Appt Times} variable.

  6. Preview your message in the lower window. If you are happy with your message select Save. If you need to make any further adjustments to your message, you may do so in the upper customization window.

Advanced Appointment Filters

Weave’s Advanced Appointment Filters allow you to filter your appointment reminders by Appointment Type, Provider, or Opertory.
