Phone Installation

Ready to install your phones? We have already tested them to make sure they are delivered to your office ready to be plugged in.

Each phone will come with the following:

  1. Power cord
  2. Receiver cord
  3. Ethernet cable
  4. Receiver
  5. Phone stand

Unpack the phone and follow the instructions below:

Step 1: Un-pack the phone 

Confirm that the phone has all the needed parts (see list above)

Step 2: Setup the receiver

  • Take the receiver cord and plug it into the back of the phone in the 'Handset' port.
  • Plug in the other end to the receiver and place the receiver in its cradle.

Step 3: Plug the Ethernet cable into an internet source
Option A

  • Find an open ethernet port in the wall (if there isn't on open proceed to Step 2, Option B).
  • Take the ethernet cable that came with the phone and plug it into the open port.
  • Plug the other end of the ethernet cable into the 'LAN' port on the back of the phone (see port diagram below).

Option B

  • Find the ethernet port your computer is using and unplug it.
  • Take the ethernet cable that came with the phone and plug it into the now open port.
  • Plug the other end of the ethernet cable into the 'LAN' port in the back of the phone. The symbol representing it looks like a football goal post (see port diagram below).
  • Take the ethernet cable from your computer, that was plugged into the wall and plug it into the back of the phone in the 'PC' port (see port diagram below).

Step 4: Plug in the power

  • Take the power cord and plug one end into the wall and the other into the phone (see port diagram below).

Headset Installation

Step 1

Plug in the base. Place Headset in base and charge for a minimum of 20 minutes.  When your headset is fully charge there will be a solid green light on the right side of the base.

Step 2

 After charging, you will take your hook-switch cable and connect the larger end to the back of the base on the right side. The smaller end will go in the back of the phone. You will see a picture of a headset on the back of your phone (2nd to the left), that’s where you’ll plug in the clear piece. The 5 prong will go in the lower right side.

Step 3

 Once the hook-switch cable is connected you will have to sync your headset with your phone.

  • Select the home key on your phone.
  • Use the navigation key below the home key to find “settings”
  •  Press the key in the middle of the navigation key to Select.
  • Select Basic
  • Select Preferences
  •  Select Headset
  • Select Hookswitch Mode
  •  Select Plantronics EHS
  • It will ask “Are you Sure?” Select YES
  •  Your phone will reboot.

Step 4

  Once your phone reboots you will be able to use your headset.   Press the Headset key (below the Navigation Key) to use your headset. 

There are two pieces to the Weave software installation:
1) Client - installed on the individual workstations.
2) Data Sync App - installed by Weave on the office server.

WORKSTATION INSTALL (CLIENT)

STEP 1: DOWNLOAD THE CLIENT INSTALLER

Download the Installer for the Client

STEP 2: RUN THE INSTALLER

*The steps to find the installer will vary depending on the browser you're using

  • Go to your downloads folder and run the installer
  • Click install, next, and finish

The client will automatically open on the desktop.

STEP 3: CONFIGURE THE SOFTWARE WITH THE PHONE

  • Without lifting the receiver, dial the digits into the phone that are displayed on the software
  • Press 'Dial'

A message will appear confirming the configuration of the software. Press "ok" and let the software reboot.

STEP 4: LOGIN

Once the software has rebooted it is ready for use. You can login by selecting one of the usernames from the dropdown menu. The default password is firstname123.
